Lilies and Lace

I have recently become infatuated with the Louis Vuitton SS2012 collection, and the Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton show at Paris Fashion Week. The collection has everything (no exaggeration!) I've been loving this Spring - pastels and whites, laces and organza, big floral collars, and almost everything sheer. A really magical,  innocent, sugar-coated sort of style - fairies crossed with 50s diners. The show looked like it would have been breathtaking - the models came out on a glittering caraousel in a 'pale wonderland'. The whole thing seems to have a sort of eery elegance, which is actually what I like about it. The combination of grapefruit florals and glowing pale blues and whites, seem to make a beautiful, mystical transition from Winter all the way through to a warm Summer.

Romantic Rights

This was me today before I realised I was still very sick and had to go back to bed... but I thought I would show you what I was wearing anyway, and decided to put the outfit on lookbook as well. The dress is a vintage one off ebay, with the length altered, and the hat and necklaces are from Miss Selfridge :) I was feeling very Summery and am sad I cannot go outside and play in the sun today...

Bought a redonkulous skirt. Never going to say redonkulous again. Don't know when or where I will wear this beauty but I think I've gone slightly mad. Tonight is a night of firsts...

On another note, I have been having obscene desires towards anything galaxy print for a while now (mainly black milk leggings and strange morph bodysuits) so am very pleased to have finally given in. I also was wanting a sheer maxi skirt so this ticks both the boxes, yes yesssss.

I feel a bit silly doing this because I've never done it before, and I feel like a bit of a bellend for just standing there haha. But this is my first actual outfit post, tadaaaa!
Finally got round to wearing my ebay purhcased topshop shorts which I looove even though I have to pin them at the sides. Also have a picture of me trying on some things I loved today. I bought the skirt but couldn't afford the black top (boooo). Not sure what else to say, so enjoy!
